Hi Sarah! I would really love to know where the shower curtain came from!
Thanks in advance!
Looooove your home! Such an inspiration!
Hi Heather,

Sarah, what a wonderful transformation and so tastefully done! This just goes to show that one can have beautiful things and not have to own a McMansion to have them!!! Also, would love to know the sources of the kitchen cabinets and countertop. Thx in advance!!!!
Thanks so much!
The Kitchen is all from Ikea-the door fronts are ABSTRAKT in high gloss white and gray. The countertop is quartz in pure white.
Sarah
Thanks Dominique,
I love that no one knows the cabinet isn't vintage-every once in a while Ikea makes a great piece of furniture. Let's hope they don't discontinue it. I also must say I love the white console you have in your living room-it's amazing!
Sarah
GORGEOUS HOME! I love that you stayed true to the era of the home. I hate when 1950s homes are renovated and stripped of their character.
I especially love your living room and bathroom, and your mid-century aesthetic. I am also surprised by how much I love that black wall.
Thanks Sarah! I am also curious to know where the light fixtures in the living room and dining room came from!! I have been shopping for light fixtures for 6 months!!
Thanks!!!
Hi Heather,
The dining room sputnik light is Nuevo Living Rene pendant light-http://www.nuevoliving.com/NuevoCore.cfm?Page=Products&SubPage=ShowItem&SubTypeID=40&ViewItem=30&T=
It was purchased at Morba-http://www.morba.ca.
The large hanging pendant in the living room was purchased at Design Republic. There isn't a photo on the website but I'm pretty certain this was the fixture:

I hope this helps!

Hi Niki,
Thanks for your comment. The light fixture is from an old schoolhouse, we bought it at the Brimfield Antique Show. Our kitchen was featured on TheKitchn and a commenter mentioned:
schoolhouseelectric.com
I saw a somewhat smaller version at Home Depot yesterday for $29.00
I hope this helps,
Sarah
Well shoot... I reckon you have to be a retailer or designer to purchase the light in your dining room...
:(
But thanks for the info Sarah!!!!
Hi Heather,
You don't have to be a designer or retailer, Nuevo Living lighting is available all over the place. Here's a link to a US online store that is selling it:

I cannot get over how beautiful this home is. I think the bathroom may be my absolute favorite simply for the tile. Beautiful colors, but the same can be said for the rest of the house too. Wow. It's incredible, and now you guys get to brag about you're uncut diamond's been shined and polished into something truly unique. Kudos to all of you!
Hi there!
Your house is wonderfully cohesive. Did you choose a few colors (turquoise and black for example) and stick to those only? It looks as though you designed with the entire house in mind, obviously not one room at a time? Well, it sure as hell looks awesome!!

I have that IKEA curio in my dining room as well. I get so many compliments on it. Mo one believes where I bought it.

I might as well jump on the light fixture train.... where did the kitchen light fixture come from? I love the old feel. I told my husband it looks like it came out of an old school or courthouse.
