The Renovation Continues!

When I last left you we were here:

And here, with the renovation:

And then we made a beautiful temporary kitchen in the basement which I am still enjoying today, so much so that I think we should just stop the renovation and leave this as the permanent kitchen. 

And then with our 'prison cell chic' kitchen in place we did this (we, as per usual, means I supervise with either coffee or wine in hand): 

Kitchen demolition complete! And then we realized that we maybe couldn't do everything, so we hired someone to do this:

Goodbye kitchen door, hello dining room patio door! And then we spent every weekend since doing this:

And now, thank god, it looks likes this:

It's almost a real room again! I think that deserves another few exclamation points !!!!!! So now all we have to do is two more coats of drywall mudding and sanding, lay the subfloor, tile the kitchen and entryway floor, put together all the ikea cabinets, install all the cabinets, sand and re-stain the wood floors, replace trim and then paint the entire house. Ok so maybe it's not almost there but it's sure closer.
